Set up.

 

Strings, saddle assembly and machine heads removed.

 

Machine heads dismantled.

 

Machine heads cleaned, lubricated and reassembled with new temporary tuning peg.

 

Machine heads refitted. Truss rod cover removed. Fret board masked for cleaning or levelling.

 

Fret board unmasked and lemon oiled. Neck removed. Body/neck supports broken.

 

Body/neck supports repaired.

 

Neck re shimmed and refitted. Truss rod cover refitted. Guitar set up with new strings.

  1. Amazing job. Wow. So great to see what you did with my EKO. It sounds and feel excellent – really happy to have this guitar – from the 1970s? – sorted. Bought it for £20 in ‘Grannys Attic’ second hand shop in Hillsborough in 2001. You’re a master! Good for another 50 years now 🙂
